Summer Heat and Stuff

The heat has been insane these past few weeks. It’s gross, makes me sweat, and I just don’t like it. Anyway.

“What’s new?”
Honestly, not a lot to be noted. We lost our elderly cat about a week ago and it’s been devastating. There was some comfort in knowing he was older and we gave him a good life, but it still sucks.

I got a library card and it’s been nice having it so far. I missed having physical books, they are so much easier to read for me.
Somehow read one of the books I borrowed in 1 day, which is surprising to me. I didn’t think I’d have that kind of concentration left, but it seems I did 😊

Modding wise, I’m fairly burnt out. While I got that old version of the tools working, the more recent updates for them that I can’t use (because it would require a re-install) are so much cooler, and the fact that I can’t have it bums me out.
It doesn’t help that the new tools make a new form of implementing the mods possible, which has become extremely popular and the people who comment on nexus are pretty demanding this new option to be available.

I did add the modding page for Rebirth here as I said I would in the last update.

Yuki and I went to Le Mont Saint Michel for our 10 year anniversary. Its a place I always wanted to visit, and I’m glad we were there for a few days so we could take our time exploring the abbey and the shops and museums in and around it. It was really lovely.

My birthday has come and gone too, which was fairly uneventful, which is the way I like it best to be honest.

This isn’t really a great update, but here’s to hoping the next one is a bit more upbeat. ‘Til next time!
